Baby Journey \u2013 Terms and Conditions<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Baby Journey AB, org. no. 559214\u20139966, provides a modern guide for pregnant women and parents of young children via our application and website (the \u201dService\u201d). The Service is designed to reduce loneliness during pregnancy and increase a sense of community among expectant parents, partners, and parents of toddlers. Through our Service, we at Baby Journey AB walk side by side with the user from the positive pregnancy test, through childbirth, and until the child turns two years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Definitions \u2013 in these Terms, the following definitions apply:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201dUser<\/strong>\u201d, \u201dthe User<\/strong>\u201d: Pregnant Persons, Partners, Close Relatives and Parents of Young Children who use Baby Journey.

\u201dUser Account<\/strong>\u201d: The user account created when you register with Baby Journey.

\u201dData<\/strong>\u201d: All data transferred by you to Baby Journey AB during registration and the use of the Service.

\u201dPregnant Person<\/strong>\u201d: The natural person whose pregnancy is followed in Baby Journey.

\u201dWebsite<\/strong>\u201d: https:\/\/babyjourney.info\/

\u201dPartner<\/strong>\u201d: The natural person who is the partner of the Pregnant Person.

\u201dClose Relatives<\/strong>\u201d: Natural persons who follow the Pregnant Person's pregnancy through the Service.

\u201dBaby Journey<\/strong>\u201d: Baby Journey AB, reg. no. 559214\u20139966.

\u201cPersonal Data<\/strong>\u201d: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as the \u201dData Subject\u201d). This may include, for example, a first and last name, personal identity number or residential address.

\u201dCollaboration Partner<\/strong>\u201d: Such an actor as Baby Journey has entered into a collaboration with, and as in the present case appears in the Service.

\u201dParent of a Young Child<\/strong>\u201d: Individuals following their own or another child's development through Baby Journey.

\u201dTerms<\/strong>\u201d: These terms of use, which apply between you and us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Use of Baby Journey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Use of the Service is free of charge. In order to use the Service, you are required to register and provide certain information in accordance with instructions given during registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Personal data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Baby Journey will store the user's personal data for 24 months of inactivity. At 24 months, the company will communicate with the user via email. If the user has not reactivated and logged in to their account within 1 month of the 24 months, the account will be deleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Misuse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Baby Journey always reserves the right to terminate your User Account and\/or block your email address. This may happen, for example, if you misuse the Service in any way. Misuse may consist of, for example, a breach of these Terms. You are liable to compensate Baby Journey for any costs resulting from the misuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Changes, updates and restricted access to Baby Journey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

5.1<\/strong>: Baby Journey reserves the right to change the visual expression at any time, and otherwise to carry out updates, in the Service. Baby Journey also reserves the right to change, suspend and\/or terminate features in the Service including \u2013 but not limited to \u2013 functionality, features and services, regardless of whether prior notice of this is given to you or not. All new functionality, new features and\/or new services launched in the Service are covered by the Terms.

5.2<\/strong>: Baby Journey also reserves the right at any time, with or without notice, to take measures that affect your access to the Service if this is necessary for reasons including technical, maintenance or security reasons. Baby Journey shall take such measures promptly and in a manner that causes the least possible disruption to you.

5.3<\/strong>: Baby Journey\u2019s exercise of the above right does not entitle you to claim any compensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Intellectual property<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Baby Journey and\/or any Collaborative Partners shall obtain unlimited ownership and exclusive right of disposal to all material and all results, as well as all related intellectual property rights (including, but not limited to, copyright and related rights, software rights and database rights, designs, trademarks, source code, databases, business plans, inventions and patents as well as the right to registrations or applications for registration thereof, the right to claim a better right to these, and all know-how and company-specific knowledge and information), regardless of whether the rights are registered or not. All documentation, including layout, design and trademark, editorial text and film, manuals, user guides, or other written, electronic or non-electronic descriptions of how Baby Journey is established and used, shall be considered a part of Baby Journey and is thus subject to the same restrictions. Nothing in the Terms shall be construed as transferring any of these rights, in whole or in part, to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Processing of Personal Data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In order to provide the Service, Baby Journey processes the User's personal data. More information regarding our processing of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.

8. Support, communication and contact details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All communication between Baby Journey and the User takes place electronically by email, support@babyjourney.se<\/a>, or via Baby Journey. Examples of messages include information about operational disruptions, new versions, other information regarding the Service, and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Force majeure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A Party shall be exempt from liability for breaches of the Terms if caused by circumstances beyond the Party's control, such as lightning, fire, power outages, strikes, war, mobilisation or extensive military call-ups, requisition, seizure, governmental regulations, official interventions, newly enacted or amended legislation, labour market disputes, and comparable circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Amendment of the Terms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Baby Journey reserves the right to amend or add to the Terms and Conditions at any time. Baby Journey determines when any such amendments and\/or additions shall come into force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. Disputes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

11.1<\/strong>: Swedish law applies to the Terms.

11.2<\/strong>: If you believe that a Service of ours is faulty, you can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allm\u00e4nna reklamationsn\u00e4mnden), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, www.arn.se<\/a>. We participate in the dispute resolution procedure and follow the recommendations of the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
